Book Review: Dragons Love Tacos

Are you in need of some silliness in your life?  At The Cloverleaf School, we are all about using silliness as a way to pull kids into a lesson.

Burying salsa in the backyard before your dragon taco party because spicy foods give dragons tummy troubles?! Genius!

Dragons Love Tacos, by Adam Rubin, will make you laugh out loud! You have to check out this book.

Dragons love tacos. They love chicken tacos, beef tacos, great big tacos, and teeny tiny tacos. So if you want to lure a bunch of dragons to your party, you should definitely serve tacos. Buckets and buckets of tacos. Unfortunately, where there are tacos, there is also salsa. And if a dragon accidentally eats spicy salsa . . . oh, boy. You’re in red-hot trouble!

“Dragons, listen to me: Do not eat those tacos. Those little green specks in the salsa? Those are jalapeño peppers—they are super-spicy! I know you love tacos, dragons, but you are not gonna love those tacos. DO NOT LET THOSE DRAGONS EAT THOSE TACOS!!! Crunch, crunch, crunch…”

We hope you are enjoying our book reviews!  We certainly are enjoying sharing some of our favorites.  Let us know which books you and your little one are giggling over these days!
