Farm Burger Buckhead Dine Out Night!

I think it’s safe to say that everyone enjoyed themselves this past Tuesday, May 15th, when we took over the patio of Farm Burger Buckhead for our Dine Out Night!  It was a wonderful evening of fun, catching up, and getting to know each other better.  It was also a safe and supportive setting to take our kids out and work on social skills and social engagement.

Farm Burger Buckhead generously offered to give us 10% of all their dinner sales that evening and we had a terrific turnout.  There were kids, and grownup, and dogs, and even a bunny!

Everyone knows Chocolate Coconut Milkshakes make kids grow up big and strong, Mom!

We owe a huge “Thank You” to Farm Burger Buckhead, who not only donated 10% of their dinner sales, but also tolerated our antics, and invited us back!  (Plus, have you tried their Parmesan Garlic Fries?  I die.)

A fine selection of Dobraszs for you this evening. (“Dobraszi?”)

One of the most important things to us when starting this school was to remember we weren’t just creating an educational organization–we were creating a community.  For it to really succeed as such, we want to build an environment of kindness and support, where we know each others’ children and care about their successes.

I like to think we are well on our way to accomplishing that.

One of us is amused. The other, slightly less so.
