We had the honor of receiving an important visitor: Representative Stacey Abrams, House Minority Leader! Leader Abrams toured the school and had the opportunity to see our teachers and kids in action, visiting all of our classrooms.
We are always glad to make new friends and are grateful that Representative Abrams was able to spend some time with us at The Cloverleaf School.
Would you like to be a Friend of Cloverleaf or do you have a suggestion for a community leader to come visit us to help spread the good news about The Cloverleaf School? Let us know, right here in the comments section.

We hosted a book fair and book signing with renowned, award-winning author Julia Cook! Our kids loved hearing her read her books and explain how she became an author and it was thrilling to have an opportunity to show our school to her. Hear her thoughts from the event:

We are in the midst of a very exciting time at The Cloverleaf School! At the beginning of July, we are leaving the wonderful space we’ve simply outgrown (thank you SO much for having us, Sensations Therafun!) and moving into new digs. We have been welcomed into the educational wing of Peachtree Baptist Church, at the corner of Briarcliff and Lavista. While we are not religiously affiliated, it is difficult to imagine a warmer reception than the one this great church has offered us.
The next month and a half will pass in a flurry of activity as we finish camp at the end of June, move to our new campus, and get things shipshape to start school at the beginning of August. (Why the beginning of August? We’re glad you asked!)
It’s a thrilling prospect and we can’t wait for you all to see what we are working on. We will post pictures, as well as more profuse “thank yous!” in the coming weeks. In the meantime, a HUGE “Thank You” to the special needs community of Atlanta, which has embraced us and our mission from the outset.
