Jessica grew up in a small town in Southern Indiana and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education (K-12) at The University of Alabama. She is certified in Special Education (K-12) and Math (6-12) Upon graduation, Jessica taught math for two years at a charter school in Dallas, Texas. She moved to Atlanta in 2015 in order to be closer to friends and family.
Jessica has been working with students who have learning differences for over 10 years. In 2010, she realized her passion for students on the Autism Spectrum from a deep bond formed with a 1st grade boy. Through watching him grow and learn many new skills, Jessica knew she needed to help other students with differences realize their full potential. At Alabama, Jessica worked with college students on the spectrum make the transition from high school to college and is passionate about ensuring all students become the best version of themselves.
In her spare time, you can find Jessica working on projects. She is a woodworker, who has completed projects from a pool table to a carved bell for her grandparents’ 50th wedding anniversary.
Jessica is very excited to start this chapter of her life in the Cloverleaf family.
