A lifelong Atlantan, Cristina has joined The Cloverleaf School as our development officer. She has over 11 years of experience in business management and has done a tremendous amount of marketing, fundraising and compliance support. She also is able to help families navigate through the often cumbersome and ponderous process for the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program (“SB-10″). In an effort to help demystify that program and provide a community resource, she has broken it down into its essential steps here.
Her previous administrative experience in other private schools make her a wonderful addition to our team, and also drove home to her how much she enjoys working with special needs kids. She is a tenacious advocate for children, in general, and has embraced neurodiverse children with a particular passion.
Cristina enjoys baking and spending time with her husband of 5 years and her delightful 2 year old daughter. (You can see why!)
A measure of how helpful Cristina has been was the fantastic success of our Dine Out event at Farm Burger, not to mention our first Annual Fundraiser at 4th and Swift.
We are thrilled to have Cristina on board, helping us realize our vision of a school offering academic challenges to children with learning differences and social/behavioral struggles in an environment that provides the support they need to succeed at those academic challenges. Her drive and determination are a big part of what is helping us succeed!
